Experience

Hello! My name is Gemma, In 2014 I became mum to a beautiful daughter and wanted to take her to as many classes as possible to stimulate her and make new friends. I found I was struggling to find groups that I liked and that not only made me feel comfortable attending but that I felt were beneficial for my daughter; and that we both enjoyed. On Facebook of all places I found Baby Sensory after a friend had tagged me on a the local class's status. I contacted the class leader and went along to the free taster, immediately after we signed up and LOVED it! It is so much more than a baby class, I met other like minded mums and dads which was lovely. I knew as soon as I had to go back to work that Baby Sensory was now what I wanted to do and I feel so passionate about how brilliantly it has affected my daughters first year that I want to share it with as many people as possible.

Babies absorb more in their first year than any other and Baby Sensory has an incredible amount of planned, structured activities all with developmental learning benefits that give your precious new baby the best start in life. It is also a great chance to meet other new mums and dads and create new friendships.

I am so excited to meet you and your little one and look forward to welcoming you to my classes.

Description

Gemma covers the North Cornwall area and runs in various locations throughout North Cornwall currently Wadebridge, St Austell and Launceston. We welcome parents and carers from all over the county. You can book at any time providing there is space, it doesn't have to be at the start of a new term

Your baby is amazing, his/ her brain will grow more in the first three months than at any other time in his/her life, it actually doubles by the time they turn one. This first year is such a fantastic opportunity to offer sensory experiences as the brain cells make connections with every new experience, every new sound, every new smell that your baby encounters. It's never too early to start stimulating the senses - even in the womb our babies listen to our voices and the wonderful rhythm of our heart beats, taste the amniotic fluid and watch the strange lights moving around. They really are fascinating these little people! I do hope you and your baby will come along to Baby Sensory to experience all the wonderful activities we have to offer!
